thanksgiving in shanghai

December 10, 2016

The last time I went to Shanghai, I was in the 6th grade.

I decided to spend Thanksgiving with the family since it would be my last “long term” vacation for a while. It came down to either Vegas (which we always go to) or Vancouver (which my parents used to go to a lot when they were younger). I forget how Shanghai came up as a suggestion, but once mentioned, we realized we had a couple of things we needed to take care of there anyway. It was only $500 for a round-trip flight, which was absolutely amazing!!

Four days was way too short but I did lots! I thought it would be best to just write short blurbs about each picture since I have so many.

THE FLIGHT

Me + Xan, sitting through 13 hours.

THE HOTEL

The hotel room was bigger than hotel rooms in NYC, hah.

$2 for a meal for 4 is honestly the best. Fried goodness.

ASIAN DESSERTS
