I thought it would be good to write up something about where I am fitness-wise and what my goals are.

To some extent, weight has always been an issue for me for as long as I remember. According to my mom, I wasn’t technically fat until the 5th grade. I guess it wasn’t until then that I started becoming self-conscious with my body. With both parents and a sister who are on the thin side, I was always the one who stood out from the group. I slowly got bigger and bigger until about sophomore year of high school, when I got to around 177 pounds. My mom became worried. Size 10 pants were getting tight and my body just kept ballooning.

memorial day weekend 2016: long beach + updates

First off, I guess there a couple of things to settle here.

I am once again going through lots of decisions in my life. Last week, I closed the real estate chapter of my life. It got to a point where I was starting to become unhappier and unhappier with each passing day. So there’s that.

I will be starting classes at Parsons next Monday. There’s that.

I have officially restarted Kayla Itsines’s BBG workout. I thought it would be helpful to blog about my weekly experiences not only with BBG but my health in general.

Now that I got that off my chest, onward to Memorial Day weekend spent at the beach! 🙂
